Remember: “Published author” always looks good on a resume.
NJSCPA Student Ambassador
Reach out on your own college campus and encourage fellow students to consider accounting as a career choice and publicize NJSCPA programs and resources, such as scholarship opportunities, Facebook, Career Night, The Scholars Institute and NJSCPA membership.
CPA Exam Cram Blogger
Share your CPA Exam experiences with others through the NJSCPA CPA Exam Cram Blog, an online record of the trials, tribulations and triumphs of NJSCPA members preparing for and taking the CPA Exam. Bloggers check in weekly and are encouraged to respond to reader comments and questions.
Pay It Forward Speaker
Speak to local high school students about the CPA profession by participating in the popular Pay It Forward program. An interactive presentation, giveaways and talking points are all provided. This is a perfect way to practice your presentation skills without being graded or fired.
