    The New Jersey Division of Taxation has begun mailing applications for the 2011 Homestead Benefit. Applications will be mailed over the next three weeks to both senior (age 65 or older on December 31, 2011) and nonsenior homeowners. The application deadline is June 30.

    The Internal Revenue Service is accepting applications for the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) grant programs, which will allow some organizations to apply for annual funding for up to three years.
